Santo Stefano Belbo

Tenuta Piansrej

“An Piansrej” is the name of the place where our family farm was born. It produces moscato and nebbiolo grapes.

The farmhouse is located in the beautiful natural amphitheater of the Cesare Pavese Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We’re in the shadows of the historic medieval tower of Santo Stefano Belbo. In front of us, we have a view of Moncucco Hill, the hill from Pavese’s famous poem, “I mari del Sud”.

Purchased by my family in 2010, it underwent a complete renovation in 2012 through the replanting of its vineyards with a preference for white Muscat Canelli grapes. It was later converted to an organic farm and certified in 2019.

I’ve grown my moscato grapes here for several years, and as of 2020, they’ve also been used in my Mò Frem®
