Farm

In the footsteps of my grandparents

I personally produce and vinify my grapes with passion, love and a meticulous eye for quality, sustainability and authenticity.

My name is Emanuele Gambino, and I'm from Santo Stefano Belbo, in the province of Cuneo.

I was born and raised between the Langhe and Monferrato, territories and places where my roots run deep. I love the landscapes, people and traditions.

Thanks to my wine growing grandparents, I had an opportunity to experience a rural setting, where I developed a passion for the land as well as for simple, authentic things.

This experience ultimately led me, after a radical change in my professional life, to follow in their footsteps.

I’ve been involved in winemaking since 2011. In 2016, I purchased my farm in Costigliole D’Asti, where I personally grow and vinify my grapes.

The winery is located in the most ideal area for producing our wines. Costigliole D’Asti is one of the homelands of Barbera D’Asti, while Santo Stefano Belbo has always been the homeland of Moscato D’Asti.

I have approximately 12 hectares in these two municipalities, cultivated with native varieties.

The winery, located in an ancient farmhouse in one of the most impressive areas in the region, was recently established and relies on state-of-the-art equipment.

Assisted by a young winemaker, already much appreciated and esteemed for his skill and competence, it’s here that I produce small niche batches with an eye on tradition and on the connection to our territory, with particular attention to detail.

Vinification takes place in steel tanks. Aging takes place in oak casks and tonneaux as well as in terracotta amphorae.
